About Cowboy Free Range Meat

Here at Cowboy Free Range Meat we are proud to be family owned and operated from the very first day to the present. The company was brought to life by Chuck and Patty Ann Sandberg. They are still a strong influence in the business.
Richard Rhoades, a close friend of the Sandbergs, is now the owner of Cowboy Free Range Meat. Richard owns a ranch near Buffalo, Wyoming, where in the past he raised free range longhorn cattle. He is known in the local area for his abundant gardens and herbs, which he sold wholesale.
Richard's daughter, Sabrina, is our office manager. Sabrina has assisted her father in the management of his ranch and outfitting business. Richard's son, Paul, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and will contribute the recipes we post on our web page. Pam Sandberg, a retired teacher and Richard's significant other, works in our office. Both families offer a Wyoming background rich in ranching, farming, hunting, and outfitting.
- After being diagnosed with Celiac Disease Patty Ann became aware of the health benefits of organic and natural foods. As a result she developed the recipes for our popular jerky products, which contain no nitrites, nitrates, MSG, or wheat.
- Our Buffalo and Elk are Idaho raised and grass fed, without pesticides, herbicides, antibiotics, steroids or other hormones. All our meat products are free of fillers, MSG, nitrites, and nitrates.
- Buffalo and Elk provide a healthier and lower fat alternative. Ground bison is all lean.
- Bison contributes about 69% more iron to your diet than does the same serving of beef.
- Many people who have allergies to other meats find they can eat bison.
Our products can be enjoyed by those who are limited by the food choices offered in today's market. In this day and age of fast food and factory farming we offer a high quality, nutritious product that can be trusted.
We invite you to enjoy our high quality meat products. Plan your meal times around all natural products you can trust.
Here's to your health,
Richard, Pam, and Sabrina
